01

Who we are

Dade County Football Club (“Dade County FC”, “the club”, “we”) is an amateur soccer club founded in 2021 and based in Miami-Dade County, Florida. This policy covers dadecountyfc.com and the forms, newsletters and payment links reached from it.

Questions about anything below go to office@dadecountyfc.com, or by mail to 5741 Southwest 51st Terrace, Miami, FL 33155.

02

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to run the club. In practice that is:

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, an optional phone number, the topic you picked and the message you wrote. We also store the browser user-agent string and the time of submission so we can spot spam.
  • Newsletter. Your email address, an optional name, and which part of the site you signed up from.
  • Tryouts and player registration. Player name, date of birth, position, guardian contact details for minors, emergency contact, and any medical note you choose to share with the coaching staff. These forms are hosted by our registration and payment providers rather than by this website.
  • Payments. A record that a payment was made, what it was for, and the last digits and card brand our payment provider returns to us.
  • Technical data. Standard server request logs, and — only if you accept them — analytics cookies.

We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not ask for information we have no use for, such as social security numbers or immigration status.

03

Payments and card data

This website never sees or stores your card number. Registration dues, tryout fees, ticket links and shop checkouts are handled on hosted checkout pages operated by our payment and form providers — Square, JotForm and Stripe, depending on the product. Your card details go to them directly.

What comes back to the club is a confirmation: the amount, the date, what it was for, and a masked reference such as the card brand and last four digits. Those providers process your payment information as independent controllers under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS obligations.

If a payment fails, email office@dadecountyfc.com and we will send a fresh link. Never send a full card number, CVV or bank login to the club by email, Instagram DM or text — we will never ask for one, and any message that does is not from us.

04

How we use your information

  • To answer the message you sent us.
  • To register a player, assign a squad, order kit in the right size and reach a guardian in an emergency.
  • To take and reconcile payments for dues, tryouts, tickets and merchandise.
  • To send club news, fixture reminders and ticket information — only to people who asked for it.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages people use, so the site gets better.
  • To meet league, insurance and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

05

Who else sees it

Personal information is shared only where running the club requires it:

  • Leagues and governing bodies. Player registration details go to the UPSL and the USSL so a player can be rostered and eligible to play.
  • Service providers. Our hosting, database, email, form, payment and analytics vendors, each acting on our instructions.
  • EasyChamp. The public fixtures, results, tables and squad lists shown on this site are read from EasyChamp, the competition platform our leagues use. Squad names, shirt numbers and match statistics are published there as part of ordinary competition administration.
  • Legal. Where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect the safety of a player or member of the public.

06

Cookies and analytics

The cookies needed to make the site work — session handling, security, and remembering your cookie choice — are always on. Analytics cookies are optional: they load only after you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your site data and choosing again.

Analytics data is used in aggregate, to see which pages and fixtures people actually read. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

07

Photography and broadcast

Home and away matches are photographed and streamed by Player Lab Sports Network (PLSN), the club’s broadcast arm. Attending a match, a tryout or a club event means you may appear in that footage, in photographs, and in highlights posted to the club’s YouTube and social channels.

If you or your child appear in club media and you would like an image or clip removed, email office@dadecountyfc.com with a description and the date and we will take it down from channels we control.

08

Children under 13

This website is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Where a youth player registers with the club, the registration is completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the player’s details and consents to their use for team administration, safety and league registration.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us information directly, email office@dadecountyfc.com and we will delete it. Guardians may review, correct or ask us to delete their child’s information at any time.

09

Your rights

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can email office@dadecountyfc.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to stop receiving club email. Every newsletter also carries an unsubscribe link. We answer requests within 45 days.

Florida and California residents. Florida law gives consumers rights over personal data held by large commercial operators; an amateur club of our size falls well below those thresholds, but we honour the same requests anyway. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, and information about disclosures, and you may not be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, so there is nothing to opt out of.

We will ask you to confirm your identity — usually by replying from the email address on the record — before acting on a request.

10

Retention and security

Contact messages are kept while the matter is open and for up to two years afterwards. Player registration and payment records are kept as long as league, insurance and tax rules require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Data is held on managed hosting in the United States, encrypted in transit, and reachable only by the club staff who need it for their role. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

11

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — a new category of data, a new purpose — will also be announced on the club’s channels. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
